This Picturesque 7” Salad, Cake or Display Plate is another Great Estate Find.

It appears to be quite old - perhaps dating back to the 1950s - and depicts a lovely tranquil Scene of the River Mole and Bridges in Leatherhead. The Maker Backstamp – Buckfast Potteries – Devon England - features their jumping Buck icon.

Consistent with aged pottery, it does have some crazing which you can see when you examine it under bright lighting. Also, there is some rub/off of the Gold Edge Banding. It has no chips or cracks.

That being said, it is a beautiful collectible and makes a lovely display.
