This is aBORNITECRYSTALfrom MINE 57, DZEZKAZGAN, KAZAKHSTAN . This is iridescent and the back has much better color and is shinier. The back has several broken crystals (broken nearly clean with the base) so that may be the reason they mounted it with the prettier, more colorful, side down and facing the back?

This is from the collection of a discriminating Middle-Georgia collector with an eyefor aesthetics and quality. These choice specimens now bear Dixie Euhedrals labels.This particular specimen was purchased in 2002 -21 years ago.

Approximate size of crystal specimen:1 1/4\" wideX5/8\" deepX1/2\" tallor in metric: 3.0 X 1.7 X 1.3 CM. The metric measurement is more precise. This is very old stock that was purchased in 2002 fromTHE ROCKSMITHS.THE ORIGINAL SALES PRICE IN2002WAS $35.
