This Boker U.S.A. trapper pocket knife is an awesome vintage piece with a repaired bone handle.
This is a late USA Model (1945-1983) - more common - as noted by the tang stamp.
Aside from the traditional light pockmarking & discoloration of a carbon steel blade, these blades are in great shape! Good snap open on both, the primary drop point doesn\'t snap back and does have a light gritty sound. I did not deep clean the internal components so it can be improved.
The bone scales are BEAUTIFUL but one appears to have been repaired & the other is missing its metallic shield.
It features two carbon steel blades, one drop point and one slipjoint, with a plain edge and under 2.75in. blade range. The knife is manually operated and suitable for both left and right-handed users, as it has amofferextrous dexterity. The handle is made of bone and has a brown color, with a tree on the tang. This original and factory-manufactured knife is a great addition to any collector\'s collection.
