BOAC Luggage and Identification Tags Airlines Aviation Rare and Vintage:

This lot comprises three Identification Tags for the cabin that date back to the 1940s and 1950s and are rare. Two are blank on the back and one has the following information:Has: "Name Hyde, Destination 'N. Fork,' Service No. 509." All of these were given to the seller by his grand uncle, J.A. Lloyd Hyde. One of these has regular string attached to it. The other two have dark string with small metal bars at the ends to attach to the button hole.
The white, yellow and blue BOAC tag appears to be from the 1970s. It has some minor flaws, but is in good condition. On the back it reads: "Name/Nom Hyde, Destination, PRESTWICK, and Service 352??—smudged."
The BOAC Coronet tag is in excellent condition. On the back, for Name it has "BA-175" and Destination Nairobi. Like the other tags, this has its original string.
Together, all of the tags are vintage and some are rare and vintage.
