- BG#279 First Printing Ad Back Cut Double postcard bought from the collection of a UK collector who originally acquired them in the late 60s early 70s.
Bill GrahamFillmore postcards had different back types depending on their original use. AdBacks and Bulk Rate Backs were printed before the shows and used to advertisethem, they are generally harder to find, more valuable and generally in poorercondition. Many of these were mailed to attendees on the mailing list and musicindustry individuals. The Blank Backs or PSH (place stamp here) Backs weregenerally printed after the show and retailed.
Many of thecards were printed with different back types and in the case of double sizedcards had combinations of back styles. The artwork was based on the posters andwere allocated numbers starting at BG-1 and ending with BG-289 and featured thework of the greatest poster artists of the time.

Condition: Good + light creasing, light surface wear, light corner and edge wear, staple holes, light staining to verso
Storedin a temperature controlled, dry environment in a Grip Seal bag. Packed withcardboard stiffeners in a card envelope and shipped in a corrugated cardboardmailer to make sure of arrival in pristine condition.

Condition Explained We Describe Every Fault As Honestly As Possible
We offer a huge variety of items and grading can be very subjective, we describe the condition as accurately as possible and take photos which form part of the description. A plus or a minus after the grading indicates that the condition is marginally higher or lower than the stated grade.
Mint: Item is in the same condition as the day it was made.
Near Mint: Item is in "never-used" condition and has been carefully preserved since it was produced. The item should appear to be in superb, nearly perfect condition.
Very Good: A well cared-for item that shows minor condition issues around the borders, such as pinholes, small creases, soft corners, or light discoloration.
Good: Item shows visible wear from handling, such as creases and small tears. It is physically worn, but is still considered collectible.
Acceptable: Item is fairly worn, showing significant aesthetic issues. Contains notable flaws and is possibly missing pieces.
Occasionally we may find that an item is in less than the advertised condition, if that occurs you will be contacted prior to the shipping of your order.
