Hello and thank you for viewing my listing. Today you are purchasing a gorgeous part slice specimen of Bassikounou H5 Chondrite Meteorite from Mauritania. Bassikounou is an observed fall from 2006. This specimen features excellent fresh black fusion crust and the interior showing the gorgeous fresh matrix. Just recently prepped for sales. I purchased all of my Bassikounou in 2010 and have rarely offered as it is one of my most favorite meteorites. Excellent addition to your collection.
My catalog number is BAS-0109 and weighs in at 0.53 grams and come with my card of authenticity for provenance. Remember, provenance is a must when collecting meteorites. The specimen you see is the exact specimen you will receive.
