Original TFaT Axe Mount measurements: 2 5/8" between arms, to fit over swell on handle under axe head. The depth of arms is1 5/8" to accommodate axe head of up to1 1/2" thickness. The Hatcheteer measurements: 2 1/4" between arms, again to fit over swelling just under head. The depth of the arms is 1 1/4" to fit a hatchet head width of less than 11/4" thickness.
