ALA was the Automotive Legal Association and seems to have been somewhat the precursor to AAA. Membership benefits are outlined on the map, including Legal Defense, Emergency Garage Services, Accident Insurance and Bail Bonding. Membership also included The Automobilist magazine. ALA also put out the famous Green Book
