This is a rare and collectible photograph of Liza Minnelli (now age 78) taken by famous photographer Douglas Kirkland sometime in the late 90s. The image is a beautiful portrait orientation and features the iconic artist in her signature style and smile. The photograph has been signed by Liza herself, making it a truly unique and valuable addition to any collection.

If you love Liza, you would enjoy having this in your collection. Cabaret, New York New York and touring with Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr (which I was fortunate to see in person)

Douglas was an very important photographer who died in 2022. He was a Canadian-born American photographer. He was noted for his photographs of celebrities, especially the ones he took of Marilyn Monroe several months before her death. He also is well known for his photo for Charlie Chaplin, which hangs in the National Portrait Gallery in London. He also photographed Coco Channel and other famous people.

There were 50 print of the image. Liza signed each one individually in black sharpie with a heart.

This was for AmFar when several artists/musicians/actors were photographed by various professional artists.

Border of photo is white. Not showing properly in most of the photos.

This has been in my collection for years and since downsizing I am willing to part and let someone enjoy.

It was framed (frame not included) and has been displayed out of direct sunlight.

NOTE: there is a slight condition issue with light foxing around the border and very subtle “rolling”. The image itself is in excellent condition. Please see all pictures because they are part of the description and show any condition issues noted.

The overall image including the border is 11 “x 14“. The image of Liza is approximately 7“ x 9“.

This is a fantastic picture of Liza and a fantastic, bold original autograph signature. It is also in my opinion equally important that the photographer was Douglas Kirkland.
