This is original authentic USAF Air Force radio carrier vest from Vietnam war. The E-1 vest carried a small AN/URC-4 survival radio, which was used to communicate with rescue aircraft. The black leather part in the photo is the top of the two side pockets where the emergency radio would go and the antenna can come out of this black hole. The Vesta laws to carry the emergency radio on either of the two pockets
