This is a rare opportunity to own Authentic Alamo Relics from a 2008 excavation under a private building, which is next to the Emily Morgan Hotel and located on the Northeast section of the battlefield. The Relics being offered are: 2- different size cannonball grapeshot, 3- rifleballs, 1- pistol ball and 3- buttons (with loops intact). All relics are in excavated condition as found. Extensive research has been done and as of 2014, The Texas Historical Commission has approved the History Shop building (excavation location) as the site of the final attack- staging area for Santa Anna\'s second and third columns of soldiers. This site was also determined to be the campsite for the Mexican Cavalry after the battle as they re-shod horses and repaired equipment. This excavation location(History Shop) is now owned by the State of Texas for the Alamo expansion project. This ends any future excavating at this site and makes any Alamo Relics for sale that much more rare. These Relics come with a detailed folder of the excavation and a floorplan of the dig area, photos of items in the dig area, along with a copy of the State letter for the approval for this building to get a Hisorical Marker.
