This free drink token has some good metal heft to it - a legit coin about the size and weight of a silver dollar, thought it is certainly NOT made of silver.
It\'s one of those coins they give out if they mess up your lunch order or your food takes too long coming out, a \"sorry...have a drink on us\" gesture.
I lived in Aspen 20 years ago, which is when I got this. I\'m going to assume that this is already a relic of the past, as I can\'t imagine such things (handing out actual coins) happening anymore. Either way, if you\'re a fan of Aspen memorabilia, well, here\'s a little piece.
It has not been stored in any sort of protective cover, so it isn\'t \"uncirculated,\" but it\'s in good shape, untarnished and only slightly scuffed.
