Offered is an antique gold finish gray metal bookend set that depicts Dante sitting on a bench from a sculpture by Mantarani . Probably inspired from the classic “Lost Horrizons” . It was manufactured by the K&O (Kronheim and Oldenbusch) Metal Novelties Company, NYC circa 1930. Manufacturer\'s mark is on the rear side (seen in photos). The base measures 4 x 3.5-inches in size and stands 6-inches. These classic Art Deco bookends weigh in at 4 lbs 4 oz each to hold your largest books securely in place. See photos for more details.
