Michael Golden is an American comics artist and writer who started his illustration career in commercial art. Golden entered the comics industry working for DC Comics (Mister Miracle & Batman Family (1977)). His first work for Marvel Comics was \"The Cask of Amontillado\" (Marvel Classics Comics #28 (1977)) an adaptation of an Edgar Allan Poe short story. He collaborated with Bill Mantlo on Marvel\'s Micronauts (#1-#12 (1978)). Golden has been recgonized as a co-creatior of the characters Rogue (The Avengers Annual #10 (1981)) and Bucky O\'Hare (Echo of Futurepast #1 (May 1984)).
