Thank you for visiting my sales. I am going to be selling a very largepersonal autograph collection and stamp collection. After graduating Converse Collegein S.C., Mrs. Lucy Creech Stroup was given a trip around the world. On her visit to Oberammergau, Germany,she saw the “Passion Play” for which that city is famous, and asked Anton Langfor his autograph which he gladly gave along with this advice --- Miss Creechif you like collecting autographs you should collect the first and best ofthem--- she was never without pen and paper again. This is a sort of tribute to her endeavors. 1904-1995.She went on to become a beloved pioneer teacher and used her hobby toattain many autographs, by requesting them to be hung in her classroom for “ importanthistory news of the day” many signers were happy to oblige. Again, thank you for looking. I am going to start with a few at a time andwork up to the most important ones. I hope to sell over one hundred ofthem. I will give approximate sizes forthem and as much description as I can, although I am not a professionalappraiser, I will make every effort to describe and present photos and answerany questions until the potential buyeris satisfied. I have sold many alreadyand there has never been a question of authenticity. Many of them have their original mailingenvelopes and letters of authenticity with them. 2750. this is a fine little book in good used condition. the original autograph is bold and clear. the dust jacket is in good used condition showing a little worn or bent places. the book is in good condition but has a little foxing on the inner-binder page on the back and front. it is dated by the card on the inside binder page ---the Orangeburg Lions Club 1941. thank you for looking and please visit all my autographs in my store.
