Cover detached at top staple, bottom staple popped, 2 1/2" cumulative spine split, two center wraps detached at one staple, piece missing from back cover.

This is a low grade item. The story will be complete and readable, but the item itself will have low eye appeal and will display major damage. Allowed defects for this grade include: non-story elements such as coupons, ad pages, or Marvel Value Stamps cut or torn out of the book; spine split of up to 2/3 the length of the book; a missing back cover provided the front cover is still attached; severe water damage, residue, mold, or paper deterioration due to oxidation; vertical book-length crease; detached cover or centerfold; writing or other marks on the cover; major tears; discoloration, staining, or brittleness.

Description

Stories and art by Murphy Anderson, Dan Barry, George Tuska and Alex Kotzky. An anthology from St. John, with a variety of genres, sources and artists. This issue features Old West hero The Hawk. The lawless town of Adobe Bend must change after Marshal Bob "Hawk" Hardie rides into town, but outlaw Slash hires Lobo Moreno to get rid of The Hawk. Marshal Hardie arrives in Armadillo Flats and goes after Reb Sutton and his band of killers. Pajaro, new chieftain of the Mescaleros, declares war on white settlers, but his blood brother Sangre tries to convince him otherwise. Plus the lyrics to the Western tune "Billy Venero" are rendered in comics form. Nice painted cover by an unknown artist.
