Description: Diploma (patent) on paper, which is glued to a cardboard sheet. Diploma (patent) for the right to wear the badge of the Order of the Legion of Honor dated 1877 (January 10) and the badge of the Order itself. The sign of the Order is silver not lower than the 800th test, which is certified by a small guarantee stamp of France - the image of a on the sign has marks of the Paris Mint - there are two \"horns of plenty\" Hot polychrome enamels. The diploma was signed by the President of the French Republic of that time. Patrice de MacMahon, and the Grand Chancellor of the Order of the Legion of Honor, Joseph Vinoy. To whom the diploma was issued - it can be seen from the text - some captain-major of the 9th chassis battalion Monsieur Crepe, Jean Baptist Hippolyte, born in 1832. The size of a sheet of cardboard is 47 X39 cm. The badge of the Order itself, attached to the diploma with a thread, has undergone some loss of enamel, but is still in a very tolerable condition. The Sign has significant enamel losses, especially on the rays of the star. Everything is shown in the photo.
