Offering as found at an estate sale, a very old bayonet thathas been cut-down to be a 7" fighting knife. It is stampedwith a W in a circle that I believe indicates Winchester asthe original maker. The bayonet attachment button works butas seen in the photos the handle has been taped. I don't feel anything broken under the tape but I cannot commenton the handle condition. Also, I do not know the originallength or what model rifles the bayonet would fit. Might be WW1 or earlier.See photos for details and other aspects of condition.
