Antique Wallace Sterling Silver Crystal Flora Pattern Powder Jar - Late 1800s

Beautiful boudoir powder jar is created in gorgeous sterling silver and cut crystal and was made by R. Wallace & Sons silversmiths. The beautiful sterling silver top has a rose floral pattern with leaves and scrolls, while the cut crystal base has a complex cut Star patterns. There is a 24-point star on the bottom base. Silver hallmarks are: R.W & S Co. with a stag head in use from 1870-1875, indicating R. Wallace & Sons, Co. Measurements for this fabulous creation are: Height from top to bottom=3-1/2 inches, Width at widest=5 inches, Depth of powder jar without lid=2-3/2 inches. This marvelous sterling and cut crystal round box has been well cared for, gently used and is in excellent condition. There are two small dents on the outer rim of the lid, but they do not diminish the beauty of this lovely box. The crystal is free from chips or cracks. Sterling silver top is 56 grams. Crystal jar is 3.3 lbs
