Antique Embossed tooled leather Cartes de Visites (CDV)photo album from early 1900\'swith Tintypes and Cabinet Cards.

Very decorative working double clasp closures. The book has 4 glass cabochons front and back and a embossed floral gold leaf edge in wonderful condition on one book.Index To Portraits page.Some of the tintypes are also hand tinted and all are portraits. Such wonderful craftsmanship and a lovely display of antique photographs!The elegant leather covers and spine feature thin gild outlines. The spine is especially attractive and intact. We don’t know who the maker was but the inside cover page proclaims it to be a “PHOTOGRAPH ALBUM” in fancy red & gold calligraphy with gilded curly coos. There are 25 pages filled with a mix of mostly CDVs.
