Here is a fantastic, late 19th century Thos. B Adams oil lamp that has been converted to electricity. We are liquidating this lamp from a local collection. This lamp 21" tall (can be extended taller) by 16" wide by 11" deep. There is wear throughout from years of use, please see our photos. This would not be a lamp to display around children, it is solid and sturdy but the lamp shade holder is a bit fragile and would not take being bumped very well. There is a bit of a bend to the lamp shade holder, someone who knows these lamps could probably get it back into adjustment. The tank has been filled with some type of metal objects ( nails I believe), this was done by the previous owner likely to prevent the lamp from falling over when fully extended. I am not able to get any of the metal out. The shade shows some markings and wear as well, we just want to be full transparent with the condition of this 120+ year old piece.
