This antique flip calendar sign from Syracuse, NY is a unique piece of local history from the 1920s. Perfect for collectors of advertising memorabilia, this calendar features charming illustrations and was likely used in a local business. The sign is tin over cardboard (TOC) and is complete with all the days of month each featuring a notable quote. The months on the bottom are a dial that spins to change. The sign / calendar advertises Hess & Kingsbury, General Insurance and Real Estate. This calendar device was patented 1903, and I found a presence to the Hess company in the 1925 Syracuse Business directory. The calendar dates to somewhere around that time period.

While compete, most of the flip cards (days) have been reinforced with tape.
