Antique Sauter Time Switch manufactured in Basel, Switzerland by the Sauter company. The metal base includes a label which reads \"Sauter Time Switch Astronomic Type ZYL-SOL. 15 Amp, S.P.S.T, 120V, 60 CY. Represented by Reinhart Cotton Co., Inc., 66 Beaver St. New York 4\". The switch is affixed to a thin wooden base with two electrical power cords (male and female plugs) routed through the bottom, and includes a Budweiser glass used as a makeshift glass cover by previous owners. When plugged in, the mechanism on the back of the switch rotates and ticks, and the 24 hour clock face on front does rotate over time. The device is assumed to work as intended but may possibly need minor repairs or additional adjustments.
