Offered here is an antique San Ildefonso black on black pottery bowl. It dates to about the mid 1920s to maybe the early 1940s andmeasures about 6 inches wide by 3 inches tall.The bowl is decorated with a minimal display of rain and hills motif.It does not appear to be signed.
The bowl is in rough condition with heavy wear to the finish, a chip on the upper rim and there is what appears to be a very small andfine hairlinecrack at the opposite side of the rim chip. The interior shows heavy wear to the upper rim that appears to be from acontinuous stirring motion, and there is also evidence of the same at the bottom. This item does not appear to have been made forsale as a souvenir, but instead for personal use.BUYER PAYS SHIPPING!
