Antique SILVERS Brooklyn Old Hand Crank Kitchen Mixer, 12 1/4\" tall, 1870 - 1910:

Vintage antique circa 1870s - 1890s cast iron hand mixer with glass measuring jar. Glass jar is 7\" tall, with the mixer on top overall size is 12 1/4\". The hand mixer or eggbeater is cast iron metal with a wire whisk beater and wood knob. The glass jar is embossed on the bottom with Silvers Trade Mark Brooklyn and shows the Brooklyn bridge. Each side has different embossed measurements with quart, pint, gills, liquid weights, pounds, ounces, coffee cups, sifted flour. Glass jar is clear has NO chips or cracks, and the mixer works wells with some wear to the black paint. My photos show the condition well. A small bit of rust on cast iron, the crank work but it is a bit stiff when turning. The jar is nicely marked with oz and pound markings and pints and quarts for liquid.
