Up for sale is a nice 1920s/30s Art Deco influenced soda pop bottle. It\'s a classic medium \"7UP\" green and it\'s embossed with fluted paneling around the neck and shoulder, and with \"mug base\" type paneling around the base, also with the company\'s info and patent designation, the contents (8oz), a slogan (\"THE WORLDS GREATEST MIXER\") etc. It\'s machine made with a crown top lip. It belonged to the Aunt Ida company, which was some kind of counterpart to the Uncle Jo soda company; they must have seen some regional success because there are a lot of different towns who had bottling branches across the south. This one, as it says on the base beneath a six pointed star, was from Shreveport, Louisiana. It\'s 7 1/2\" tall and 2 1/2\" in diameter.
It\'s in outstanding condition with VERY light case wear if any, maybe a sliver of a nick off the upper lip but it looks to me like it was made that way. Ultimately they don\'t come much nicer than this one and it still maintains a nice shiny surface gloss. Some dust down inside and in the nooks/crannies of the embossing though, it could use a bath.Satisfaction guaranteed, if you\'re not in love after handling it in person I\'m happy to accept returns.
