This is a beautiful and unusual Robert Hanke vase.

The vase is heavily painted with a castle and gardens. The sun light in the garden painting gives you the illusion of walking through the gardens to reach the castle. The garden foliage and flowers are raised painting which can be felt.

Please note that there is crazing throughout and a tight hairline on the left side. The hairline runs from the bottom of the foliage on the left side down to the vase approximately 4 1/2inches. None of this is visible unless you inspect closely. The hairline is hidden by the colors and the age-related crazing. I tried to photograph it (see photo #11), but it is difficult to capture. The hairline is water tight. It does not leak.

Any white spots are only from my camera flash.

The vase is 10 3/4 inches high and has a circumference of 21 inches around.

I can\'t find another piece like this.

It is marked on the bottom with the Robert Hanke mark.
