This Antique Pyrex 2 CupSquat Teapotis in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It has a nice shine. The production of PYREX teapots began in 1922. They were designed by Fred Carder of Steuben fame. The teapots were made by a four man hand shop as opposed to machine made. Although the teapots could not be put on the flame of the stove, they were able to contain hot water. The first three styles were all glass, including the cover. They were available in round, tall and squat shapes. It measures 9\" from the tip of the spout to the end of the handle. It is 4 1/2\" tall with the lid on.
