This handmade picnic basket is a beautiful vintage piece woven with split oak. It features a lidded wood top 2 bent wood handles. The hinged lid is attached to the basket with two linked metal chains to keep it up for easy access. The basket measures 14” wide x 11” across x 12” high. This wonderful old basket is in very good overall condition for being 100 years old…..the stories it could tell! There are some breaks to the weaves. It had a slight lean to it. There are stains and discoloration typical for its age and use. Great character and vintage look that only comes from age. Please see photos for details.
