Antique King Size Woolen Coverlet Blue & Cream 102\" x 108\" Remarkable Condition:

This very large antique woolen coverlet is another special treasure from a generous Helping Hand donor. It was most likely made in the late 1800\'s in North Carolina. It is a rare find in quite good condition. It is quite difficult to photograph! It was probably blue and white when it was made, but now the camera sometimes sees the \"creamy\" color as white, sometimes as off-white, and sometimes as beige. One of the great features of this beautiful coverlet is that it is a generous 102\" x 108\". It is photographed on a double bed - but is actually larger than a contemporary King coverlet.
This lovely antique coverlet is in remarkable condition with some signs wear, but with no rips or tears and with only one small hole (Photo 3). The seams and stitches are tight. There are several brown stains like those shown in Photos 4 and 5. It is clean and well-preserved, and there are no musty odors.
