Antique Huntley and Palmers Biscuits Tin from Reading & London. Wonderful art nouveau style which would have been on the cutting edge of design in the day in this circa 1900 - 1905 tin. The hinges are in excellent condition and the lid fits nice and tight. Slight oxidation and scratching to the metal around the faux Mahagony color. Finial to open lid in intact. The inside is relatively clean but does have some oxidation and very light surface rust. I did not attempt to clean this in any way as different people have different methods and tastes. The tin measures 6 3/8 inches x 4 3/8\" x 3 3/8 inches. Rare find in this condition!
