Beautiful solid golden oak index card storage box for 3\"x5\" index cards made by the Hedges Manufacturing Company—Model # 4635. Box measures 5 1/2\" wide x 6 3/8\" deep x 4\" tall. Inside measurements are 5 1/8\" wide x 6\" deep and 3 3/4\" tall. Entire box is constructed of 1/4\" thick solid oak and uses fingerjoints in assembly for strength. Hinges are in good working order. Has a lid support for ease of use. Refinished using several coats of MinWax Satin Varnish and hand polished to a soft luster using 0000 steel wool and paste wax. A great addition for a box collector.
