Antique George Wostenholm & Sons I*XL Straight Razor with Case - Sheffield, UK.Razor - 6.25". Blade - 2.75". Case - 6.5".This George Wostenholm and Son razor features an etched blade that says "The Patent Hollow Ground" and "George Wostenholm & Sons Celebrated I*XL Razor Washington Works" stamped on the front to the right of the blade. It has a wooden handle and comes in the original case. Manufactured in Sheffield, England. The blade is still a bit sharp!
The razor has some wear on both the handle and the blade. The handle could use some new paint and the piece needs a good cleaning overall. The handle also has a small crack on one end as shown in the photos. The blade has minimal rusting. The case has heavy wear but everything is still intact and holds the razor perfectly.
