Own a BEAUTIFULLYexecuted ORIGINAL CONDITION & EXTREMELY RARE large French Victorianhand painted porcelain clockwork masterpiece, movement signed A-1, retailedby BIGELOW KENARD & CO. (retailer’s logo located on front clockface), porcelain case produced by high-end BBS French porcelain factory(see photo with maker’s logo located inside porcelain case); hand paintedby famous French painter P. PHILIPPOT; matching numbered clock movementto clock pendulum; 8-day wind two train suspension spring solid brassplate unrestored movement inserted into a large masterfully made porcelain clockcase assumed to have engagement or wedding theme based upon painted areas; ornatelygilded throughout; hand painted on all sides with intricate detail; all gildeddecorations assuming Victorian influences (extremely small amount of gildingloss with repair located on left clock side at bottom front foot area shown inphoto).

High qualitybeautifully hand painted porcelain 4” diameter faceplate contains Roman numerals& gilded in gold with cherub at center; accented with gilded brass French hour/minuteclock hands; a small FAST/SLOW adjustment gear centered above numerals; adjustableweight pendulum; clock face is surrounded with a substantial gilded brasschapter ring; brass door frame fitted with a clear heavily beveled glass (1 minorscratch in the glass) snaps shut against the gilded brass clock surround; thebackside contains a second hinged gilded brass door with pierced design setinto a brass door frame as a friction fit (replacement fabric on rear door); asteel coil gong resonates beautifully within the porcelain clock case; clockcase sits upon gilded porcelain feet; clock case is handsomely designed withhand painted scenes; both movement & gong assemblies are mounted securelyto case. Chiming correctly & runningon time. Winding key included.

I am anantique clock collector wishing to reduce my clock collection. This clock comes from my collection & hasbeen running successfully for several years with no difficulties. It has been tested prior to thisoffering. Clock set-up to establish thecorrect “beat” is paramount to the clock’s operation, accomplished throughplacement & leveling (sometimes with rotating the movement while in theclock case). Additionally, temperature& humidity may affect it over time as well. Do not over wind the clock. Lastly,I cannot not guarantee the clock’s operation once shipped. I do take pride as a seller and buyer ofthese clocks.

Allshipments will be wrapped in bubble wrap (key & pendulum wrappedseparately) set tightly into box containing Styrofoam peanuts, tapped shut& then placed into second box (as may be necessary) filled with padding foradded protection, taped shut on all sides.
