Allegheny Ludlum Brackenridge Works ID badge for employee number 7873, J. Malicki. Allegheny Ludlum, now ATI, produced stainless steel and specialty sheet goods. Malicki worked as a machinist. The id badge is in good condition with light tarnish or rust to the working spring clip. We estimate the badge to be from the 50s or maybe into the 60s.

Malecki, 82, of Lower Burrell, passed away Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012, in Highlands Nursing Center, Brackenridge. He was born Jan. 28, 1930, in Barking, Pa., to the late Edward and Anna (Tedorski) Malecki. He had lived in the area all his life. John had worked for Allegheny Ludlum as a machinist for several years before retiring. He was a member of St. Mary Church in New Kensington. He had served in the Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of the Natrona American Legion and the Lower Burrell VFW. John enjoyed traveling with his wife.
