Antique Duparquet DH&M Copper Pan Huge

Duparquet, Huot, & Monuese also known as D H & M Co. This firm was a well known supplier of equipment to restaurants, hotels, and steamships- they were founded in New York City around mid 1800s and finally collapsed in bankruptcy around 1930. Here is a nice large size copper sautuese (straight sided shallow pan) with a heavy cast iron handle. Handle is plenty tight but moves ever so slightly when pushed hard against the pan- (basically flexing) and it secured with three large hammered copper rivets. This pan bears the “Duparquet” makers stamp as well as some initials- see photos for marks, condition, and measurements. It is roughly 32” in total (length with the handle). Basically it is a 16” diameter pan with 3” high sides. The pan weighs about 16 lbs. It has an old (minor) repair as to be expected with the use it likely has seen but in my experience with these large old coppers it has escaped time and use in very good shape. The pan sits nice and flat. The repair is solid and the pan has no holes. Please ask questions if needed before buying.
