A wonderful antique desktop item…cast iron frog in old paint with a made in Japan mechanical pencil on a cord in its mouth…the frog measures about 2” by 1-3/4”…the tasseled cord with the pencil is about 16” long…the frog appears to have the original paint and has some paint loss and wear…the cord is worn and frayed some as shown…the pencil appears to be complete but does not seem to work as it should by extended the lead…it has a lot of discoloration and wear…a very fun and unusual antique desktop frog with pencil!
