Rare antique 1860's ornate German Gesetzlich Geschützt cast iron bean slicer. Circa 1860. The cast detailing is amazing and would make quite a statement in any kitchen. It has an table/slab clamp on the backside and a wooden handled crank on the front.
This antique Gesetzlich Geschützt bean slicer is made of thick cast iron with ornate relief detailing. Feaures a threaded table clamp on the backside and a wooden handled crank on the front. The opening at the top loads contents to be sliced/minced, with slicer blades that move at the turn of the crank. In working condition, measures 8 inches not including handle, there is some surface rust. Can be used for green beans, nuts, garlic - slices and minces. No damage seen, both clamp and handle turn nicely. Weighs in at a sturdy 2 lbs.
