Offering an extraordinary bolster pillow case with a tremendous amount of hand work. Gorgeous embroidery appliqué and Figural work done beautifully. This is an original. It has been handmade around 1940, and is in excellent condition. It has been gently hand washed and ironed. It is pure white with no markings or holes that we could find. This bolster case is unusual not only in the design, but the fact it is open at both ends, for convenient pillow removal. If you love cherubs this is the case for you! Please see my pictures to see the size of the cherub and the rest of the beautiful work, that was hand done. This is an amazing find!
