ANTIQUE COBALT BDH HOBNAIL LYSOL BOTTLE - scarce 4.5 inch size
A rare larger sized (4.5 inch) cobalt blue glass poison bottle that once held Lysol, an antiseptic. It is in the shape KU-17 as described by Rudy Kuln in the book \'Poison Bottle Workbook\'. KU standing for unusual or odd shaped bottles. It has a triangular front with two sides with hobnails, the back is smooth and rounded, the sides flat with vertical ribs. The base is embossed with BDH in a diamond. BDH stands for the chemical company British Drug Houses.
Age: Circa Late Victorian or Edwardian.
Condition: Good condition, two very tiny nibbles on the lip edge. The neck is slightly wonky. Lots of bubbles within the glass.
