Antique Astral / Solar Kerosene Oil Lamp Cornelius :

This antique solar lamp measures 16.5” to the top of the #2 kerosene collar, and 7.75” across the base from foot to foot. The brass base has very crisp casting and retains only some of its original gilding. The font has been converted to kerosene and is free of any dents or splits. No part of the lamp has been drilled for electricity. The placard of the font reads “Cornelius & Co. Phila’ Pat. April 1st 1843”. The 6” shade ring has been soldered to the font.
