Antique Alton By T Furnival & Son Dogwood Soup Tureen Brown Floral 1800's: $156.00
T. Furnival & Son ran from 1871-1876 and this dogwood brown transfer pattern shown Alton. The pattern runs around the entire tureen, including the handles, and appears inside as well. There is a backstamp which looks like the stamp of the company and a diamond shape with a bulb on top with a large R, small K, and the Roman numerals? There's a printed 14 in brown. The Furnival stamp is pretty clear, and the biggest indicator this is an authentic Furnival piece. I am not seeing crazing, no chips or crack but there are some dark spots on the back hand of the spoon and there is another brown spot on the side of the bowl. I am not sure it it can come off with a product but I was only willing to use water. Please message me with questions or requests.
