Here is an antique ABBOTT & LAWRENCE Philadelphia Cast Iron WAFFLE IRON as found with the wire/warming stone stand. I am not sure if both were originally together, but they were together at a farm sale AND the Iron does fit the stand accurately. The Waffle Iron is marked as shown in the photos including the desirable small 7&8 Size. Has overall wear, but appears complete with no cracks in the cast iron. As found it needs cleaning/restoration and seasoning before actual use. My brief research on this company showed it was in business under the Abbott & Lawrence name for the short 1851 to 1858 time period only. See photos for both condition and other information.
