This listing is for an antique, framed, crewel embroidered on velvet picture. The picture is a winter scene, and a poem about December. \"I heard a bird sing in the dark of December, Twas a magical thing and sweet to remember\". Framed, overall measures about 18\" by 17\" in size.
A lovely piece, signed by the embroidery artist on back \"Marcella H Klebesadel, Summer of 1937\". There is also an award winning 4th place ribbon for submission to the Shawano County Fair, along with a copy of the artist\'s obituary. This piece is being sold as is / as found - an estate sale find from an sale in Shawano, Wisconsin, along with other award winning antiques. Nice condition overall, with some signs of wear, as shown in the pictures.

Every item we ship is insured. We figure that expense into the cost of our listings.
