Up for your consideration is this beautiful antique coverlet. Acquired from a Southwest PA family estate. Pennsylvania Dutch, handmade, woven using a Jacquard Loom. Double weave, double panel, bird design, indigo blue, red and natural 100% wool. This highly collectable coverlet is signed and dated " 1853 made by F Danhous for ". It measures 76 1/2" x 78 1/2" with a 3" fringe on three sides. This beautiful antique coverlet has been properly stored and cared for through the years and is in excellent antique condition, with normal age wear. I see no major damage.
