Stunning Antique Nippon Hand-Painted Gilded Floral Teapot measures 6\" tall with a length of 6 1/2\" long from handle to spout. This teapot features an odd almost egg shape with numerous hand-painted roses along with gold gilt. The teapot is footed and also features a maple leaf Nippon marking on the bottom of the teapot. The teapot also includes a built in strainer on the inside of the teapot (see photos). Overall, the teapot has minor gold wearing and does accompany a small chip on the spout of the teapot. Besides from these two things, the piece is free from any other scratching or chipping. A beautiful, antique piece!
