An original cold-war DDR / GDR east German border sign, (23X16") pre-1990 RARE:

This is an item you don't see anymore. An original Staatsgrenze border sign warning that passage is forofferden. A tru relic of the cold-war. This sign is used (you can see where it was mounted to a post) It is made from that unique east-German fiberglass/fiber-board composite material. I don't know the name of it but if you collect DDR items, you know what I'm talking about..I got this in Germany back in the 1990s from a fellow that I knew. He pried two of them off of posts at the 100-yard-wide Border zone just NE of Hof, Bavaria (on the border with Saxony). I only have this one.
