American Steam VHS Lot Of 7 Vanishing 1998 Green Frog Productions 1218 844 3985:

In this lot, you’ll enjoy a huge variety of vintage steam that were originally released by green frog productions between 1991 & 1996 with narration from both Bob Carerra, & Hollywood actor Dan Chandler.

The titles that you’ll get in this that were distributed by Madacy entertainment in Canada which they’re all recorded in extended play mode are:

1. Steam in the ‘50s & ‘60s (30 minutes as it features the mighty Union Pacific big boys, DM&IR Yellowstones, & even a visit to the Duluth & northeastern with 2 future famous survivors: 2-8-0 number 28, & 0-6-0 number 29 with films by Tom Strid) note: I have 2 copies.

2. The twilight of steam (1960s & 1970s action with most of the future famous surviving locomotives: southern 385 in New Jersey, Canadian National 7470 in New Hampshire, Canadian National 89 at Steamtown USA in Vermont before moving to the Strasburg railroad in Pennsylvania along with the Reading T1 class northerns, & more that was shot by Bill McCleanan)

3. Steam giants across America (a bunch of mainline action with more big boys & Yellowstones plus the Norfolk & western Y class 2-8-8-2s & class A 2-6-6-4s in regular service as well as 1218 on a Suwannee Steam excursion in Florida in 1990, & Union Pacific challenger 3985 in 1991 as it not only makes a trip from Salt Lake City to McCammon Idaho, but also doubleheads with 844 from Cheyenne Wyoming to the 10th anniversary party at the California state railroad museum in old Sacramento, that was shot by various cinematographers used in other Green Frog Titles, while on the April 1991 segments, Pentrex, the Durham brothers of lasting impressions & the late America by rail co-creator Greg Scholl was also on the 844 & 3985 segments)

4. Steam in the 50s (a full hour look at fallen flags through the footage of Jerry Carson) note: I have 2 copies, one normal, the other a former library rental.

And 5. Classic steam of the 20s through the 40s (a full hour look at lots of fallen flags in mostly black & white as well as some in color)

All of these are fully rewounded to the start.

Note: the one from the 50s only, & the other from the 20s to the 40s are former library rentals, while the others have the cases still intact.
