Alternative Underground Comic Anthology Lot Stripburger / Kuti Kuti / Young Lust:

This is a lot of ten comics / comic magazines. They are all comic book anthologies from the alternative/underground scene, many of them featuring international artists. The lot includes the following:
1. Three issues of Stripburger (7, 29, and 40), a comic magazine from Slovenia. These are thick oversized magazines (A4 size, close to an 8.25x11.75), around 90 pages each, chock full of fascinating comic art by a diverse range of underground and experimental cartoonists. Mostly black and white, although #40 has a small color section featuring the artwork of Spanish underground legend Max. The books are published in a combination of English and Serbian (some strips in each language, alas the Serbian ones don\'t seem to be translated).
These are all staple-bound. Staple binding is solid on all 3 issues. 40 is in very good shape, with just some bending on the corners. 29 is also in good shape, although two corners are a little bumped up/damaged created some small tears. 7 is still in good shape but a little rougher, with some bends on the corners and streaks/color loss around the spine which is visible on the front cover.

2.Three recent issues of the Finnish comics anthology Kuti (issues 58, 59 and 60). These are oversized comics printed on newsprint. 58 features all Finnish artists. Issue 59 has a special theme on \"comics and migration.\" Issue 60 is a \"remix\" issue with remixed versions of comic from previous issues. Some of included artists are Zven Balslev, Roope Eronen, Jyrki Heikkinen, and Samplerman. The comics have English translations at the bottom if you don\'t speak Finnish. In very good condition.
3. Issue 9 (IX) of Nozone, a political comic and art zine, focusing on the theme of \"Empire.\" It has a good variety of writers, illustrators, and comic artists from around the world. A highlight for me is the work of German artist Henning Wagenbreth, who is featured with a color comic section.
This copy is in good condition, but does have some wear on the cover. Most noticeably, there is a blemish on the cover from where a price sticker was removed (see close-up images). The interior of the book is in very good shape with clean pages.
4. Three standard-sized comic anthologies. Shock SuspenStories 5 is a reprint of a classic EC anthology (art by Wally Wood, Jack Davis, Jack Kamen, and Joe Orlando). Young Lust 5 is an adults only underground comic (artists include Bill Griffith and Spain Rodriguez). Last Gasp Comix and Stories 1 is a later underground (includes work by Stephanie Blanquet). All comics are in good condition. The cover of Young Lust is a little wavy.
