The Alta Via 1 is a 120-150 km hike through the Dolomites in Italy. It starts at the beautiful Lago di Braies and ends at the La Pissa bus stop. The hike offers stunning sceneries and some very challenging miles with steep ascents (and don't underestimate the descents either). Hikers stay in rifugios along the way.

The medal is of very high quality and weighs 4.5 oz, is 3.5 inches in diameter, and comes with a 1.5 inch ribbon.
